What technology is used for virtual try-on?

Most virtual try-on platforms use some combination of augmented reality (AR) to overlay products onto camera feeds, computer vision to detect body shape and pose, 3D modeling for garment representation, and AI for realistic rendering.

WearView's approach leans heavily on AI rather than AR. We built proprietary models trained on fashion-specific data. Instead of overlaying a digital garment onto a camera feed, our system generates entirely new photorealistic images where an AI model wears your actual clothing. It preserves the details that matter: prints, textures, logos, stitching. The result looks like a real studio photo.
